Mobile Devices
Mobile Devices was founded in 2002 in Paris, France and has since rapidly become a leader in the embedded telematics industry with more than 200.000 terminal units sold in more than 40 countries.
Its unique and open platform enables thousands of developers worldwide to easily port their own telematics applications to the MCT2.0 embedded operating system thanks to Morpheus, a rich software development kit with near 3000 APIs. All these applications can share the same hardware using Mobile Devices’ core technology including CloudConnect, a standard multi-application communication gateway with its own communication protocol and APIs.
Mobile Devices has a workforce of more than 75 people and thanks to a proactive strategy for an international presence in Europe, United States and Asia, the company gathers more than 400 partners throughout the five continents.
Mobile Devices was awarded the 2009 Frost and Sullivan Telematics and Navigation award “Best Product Differentiation and Innovation”.
