The BF 1150 multifunctional device from Bury enables vehicles to be located and it allows real-time communication to be established between the driver and the fleet manager. At the core of the application is Telit’s GE864-QUAD Automotive module which, thanks to its sturdiness and extremely compact size, is especially suitable for the demands of the automobile industry. Customers can benefit from optimised fleet coordination and consequently a significant increase in the efficiency of their vehicle fleet.

Telit develops wireless communication system for Eurocopter. International development project for monitoring critical components in helicopters.
Rome, 23 April 2009 – Telit Wireless Solutions, an international leader in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications and a subsidiary of Telit Communications PLC (AIM: TCM), and Eurocopter have inked a three-year cooperation agreement to develop a configuration management monitoring system for helicopters. Under the terms of the RFID-Aero R&D project, Telit’s short-range division, Telit RF Technology, will develop a wireless communication system for the world market leader in civilian helicopters that will monitor critical helicopter components. This will significantly improve helicopter maintenance operations.

Pósitron names Telit exclusive provider of wireless modules in Brazil
São Paulo, 20 April 2009 – Telit Wireless Solutions, a global leader in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications and a subsidiary of Telit Communications PLC (AIM: TCM), announced an exclusive agreement with Pósitron, a PST Electronics brand, to provide wireless modules.
